Sindh Minister for Information, Labour and Transport Syed Nasir Hussain Shah hosted a dinner reception in honour of senior media persons at a hotel here

KARACHI, Sept 21 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Sep, 2017 ) : Sindh Minister for Information, Labour and Transport Syed Nasir Hussain Shah hosted a dinner reception in honour of senior media persons at a hotel here.

PPP leader General Secretary PPP Sindh Waqar Mehdi, Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Ms Shela Raza and Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah of Mirpurkhas PPP Leader, said a statement on Thursday. Secretary Labour Abdul Rasheed Solnagi, Secretary Information Imran Atta Soomro also attended the event.

Addressing at the occasion Minister Information stressed for strengthening working relations between the government and the media. He said that the present government is taking keen interest to resolve the issues confronting to media.

Sindh Home, Agriculture and Mines & Minerals Minister Sohail Anwer Sial while addressing said that the Government maintain active liaison with media and hopes to receive the same in response.

This is imperative to verify the contents of a news item from the concerned person or department in order to ensure correct dissemination of information through media, he added.

He said that media is an important part of the society and plays vital role in the society, though we appreciated the role of media. Later, the Minister for Information along with Sindh Minister Home Sohail Anwer Sial, Waqar Mehdi, Shela Raza, Khairun Nisa Mughal, Saadia Jawed celebrated the 29th birthday of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari by cutting cakes on the occasion and prayed for his long life with best wishes.
