The Sindh Assembly Wednesday witnessed the rejection of an adjournment motion about failure to effectively control Pneumonia in Sindh

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Nov, 2017 ) :The Sindh Assembly Wednesday witnessed the rejection of an adjournment motion about failure to effectively control Pneumonia in Sindh. The motion was tabled by PTI-MPA Khurrum Sher Zaman terming it a critical issue of the province.

He said that approximately 20,000 children under the age of five annually suffer from the disease. Adding that the provincial government has failed to eradicate the ailment. Sindh Minister for food and Parliamentary Affairs Nisar Ahmed Khuhro was also suggested not to take up the adjournment motion.

Later, Deputy Speaker Syeda Shehla Raza termed the adjournment motion as non-maintainble.
