ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2017 ) : The Senate Standing Committee on Parliamentary Affairs on Thursday held a meeting at Parliament House and elected Senator Sherry Rehman as Chairman of the Chairperson of the Committee.

The newly elected chairperson Sherry Rehman received warm felicitations from the members of their committee with a pledge to make the committee system more effective, vibrant and assured of their cooperation in the running the affairs of the committees smoothly.

In her opening remarks at the meeting, Senator Sherry Rehman thanked the committee members for posing their confidence in her and reiterated to resolve to work with honesty and devotion. She said Parliamentary Affairs committee played important role in elections reforms.
