Seven Booked For Selling Fake Gold Coins

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2017 ) : City police registered a case against seven alleged criminals for selling fake gold coins to a man here on Wednesday. According to police sources, Latif Shehzad of Mailsi in an application to City Police station said he received a phone call from a person identified as Javed of Khanewal who promised to provide him 2 Kg gold coins against Rs 1,550,000 when he reached the site, the accused provided him few coins and received Rs 500,000.
It was decided that pending amount and remaining coins would be given after checking them from a goldsmith when coins were checked by a goldsmith, these proved fake. Police registered a case and started investiagtion.
