Senate body passes a resolution condemning terrorist attacks in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2017 ) :Senate Standing Committee on Interior and Narcotics Control on Friday strongly condemned terrorism incidents in Balochistan, and observed that Indian intelligence agency was involved in causing unrest in the province.

Condemning terrorism incidents in Balochistan through an unanimously approved resolution, the Committee condemned incidents in which DIG Quetta, Hamid Shakeel was martyred. The resolution was presented by Rehman Malik, who chaired the meeting as Chairman of the Committee here.

The committee also expressed grief and sorrow over killings of 15 innocent people in Balochistan. The committee also condemned killing of SP Investigation Quetta Muhammad Illyas and his family and expressed its grief and sorrow.

The committee said that Indian government has allocated an amount of halfa billion Dollars to destabilize Balochistan and sabotage China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The Senate body recommended the government to raise voice in United Nations against Indian involvement.

Rehman Malik said that government should expose the nefarious face of India at the international level. The committee also offered Fateha for the departed souls of martyrs in recent terrorists attacks in Balochistan province.

Earlier, Chief Commissioner Islamabad briefed the committee about the on-going protest in Islamabad. Senator Rehman Malik said that Islamabad High Court has ordered to end the protest, adding that Administration should implement court orders.

He said that protest is right of every citizen but creating hardships for others is a crime. He said that the protest should be end through negotiation. Chairman of the committee recommended District Administration to not allow anybody to protest on the roads of Islamabad in future, adding that protests and sit-in should be limited to specific place.
