Senate Body Asked CDA To Cancel Plot Of PFOWA

UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2017 ) The committee said that the plot which was given for the welfare purpose could not be used for the commercial purpose. The meeting of Standing Committee was held here on Monday under the chairmanship of Senator Tallah Mehmood at Parliament House.

The body directed the CDA to present the detail report before the committee regarding misuse of plots which were given in the name of welfare.

Chairman CDA and Mayor Islamabad, Sheikh Anser Aziz briefed the committee about the water shortage in the sector D12 and said that two lines were being laid in the sector for the provision of clean drinking water and 95 percent work on these lines have been completed.

He told the body that water table in D-12 is very low therefore civic body was not installing tube Wels in the said sector. Senator Kalsoom Parveen, Senator Najma Hameed, officials of Ministry of CADD and CDA attended the meeting.
