Senate Adopts Two Resolutions

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Oct, 2016 ) : The Senate on Monday adopted two resolutions with one facilitating Pakistan cricket Team and other seeking incentives for local car manufacturers.
The House adopted both the resolutions unanimously as moved by Senators Chaudhry Tanvir Khan and Muhammad Ateeq Shaikh. The Senate unanimously adopted the resolution to felicitate Pakistani Cricket Team on the achievement of number one position in Test Cricket Ranking, as moved by Senator Tanvir Khan.
The other resolution by Senator Mian Muhammad Ateeq Shaikh sought from the government incentive to local car manufactures in order to boost up production of low priced vehicles in the country.
Minister for Parliament Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed said the government had announced so many incentives for this sector.
Senator Sitara Ayaz has taken back her resolution on the request of Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed regarding a suggestion to place Pakistan Meteorological Department under the administrative control of Ministry of Climate Change.
