ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Oct, 2016 ) : The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a petition filed to make proceedings of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) open and remarked that proceedings of the Commission requires secrecy at every step due to sensitivity of the matter.
It may be recalled here that Advocate Raheel Kamran Sheikh filed a petition in the apex court requesting to issue directive regarding publicly announcement of Judicial Commission proceedings which was rejected by the Registrar office with objections.
The Registrar office stated that the petitioner did not approach the concerned forum. The petitioner filed another petition against the Registrar office objections. Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali heard the case in his chamber and reserved the verdict. The apex court announced reserved order and declared Registrar office objections valid and dismissed the petition.
