The Sindh Assembly Monday witnessed a situation of rumpus over years-old questions and answers in business of the day
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Nov, 2017 ) :The Sindh Assembly Monday witnessed a situation of rumpus over years-old questions and answers in business of the day. PML-F MPA Nusrat Sehar Bano staged a walk out of the assembly hall for not timely including questions in routine agenda.
The session, earlier, started with recitation of Holy Quran and Naat Sharif with Deputy Speaker Syeda Shehla Raza in the chair. She complained that the members submit their written questions to the assembly secretariat but their raised questions come years-late in the agenda and that thing disappoints her.
She further said that issues of public importance are not given due attention and instead ignored.
MQM-MPA Sabir Qaimkhani stood up from his seat but he was asked by the deputy speaker to sit down.
Following that the members from opposition benches stood up from their seats and over that the deputy speaker said that they all should take their seats otherwise she will use her powers. The assembly also passed a resolution regarding the development of science and technology.
A resolution regarding supply of clean drinking water was sent to a committee of the assembly. Whereas, the provincial assembly also introduced Sindh Professional Protection and Health Bill 2017.
