Trend of scooty among women of twin cities is gaining speedy popularity as it is affordable and easier way of commuting.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2018 ) :Trend of scooty among women of twin cities is gaining speedy popularity as it is affordable and easier way of commuting. As with the women empowerment many females has entered into workforce ,for which they needed cheaper and easier way of transportation.
Talking to a student Anosha Khan she said that when i bought it, initially I was hesitated to ride , but now I am enjoying due to its ease and affordability. She said that "whenever my mother has to go for bank and shopping etc, we immediately reach on time without any annoyance.�� "It safes my time in rush hours to get at my work place on time", she added.
Another office worker Aleena Shabir told that it was really hard for me to reach office in time due to lack of transportation facility, but now I reach on time without much efforts.
She further added that after the encouragement of Lahore Traffic Police for giving free of cost motorcycle training to women young initiative oriented brave girls have shown courage to follow the trend here.
She said that " for me its all about convenience as it is light weight with swift gear which make me to handle my daily routine in efficient manner. It is pertinent to mention here that through "Women on Wheels" scheme Government of Punjab's 'Subsidized Motorcycle Scheme for Women' is the latest initiative taken by Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif to encourage the women establish gender equality and take back control of the much needed public spaces.
