Rich Tribute Paid To Jahangir Khan

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2017 ) : Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi on Thursday night held a night to pay a rich tribute to a noted literary person Jahangir Khan, who is mostly known as a "listener".

Khan is called listener as so far, he has attended more than 5000 International Musharias, said a statement issued by JI here on Friday.

Renowned literary person Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui has said that Jahangir Khan is not only a noted figure among literary circles but also a great example of harmony and brotherhood.

He said that Khan participates in urdu Mushairas across the world. He added that apart from literature and poetry another significant chapter of Khan's life is service to humanity. APP/ars/msk/rn
