Revenue Officials Warned Of Stern Action On Public Grievance

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2017 ) : Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Muhammad Nouman Siddique paid a surprise visit of Mukhtiarkar (Tahsildar) Office on continued public complaints against Tapedars (Patwaris) on Monday.
He instructed Mukhtiarkar to resolve the public issues on emergency basis to avert any inconvenience to public and desist from greed. He also instructed to settle the cases lying pending in office.
Public present at the office complained that bribe was demanded to process even genuine cases and people were unnecessarily summoned in office number of times.
There were numerous complaints against Tapedars of annoying the people and of compelling them to visit office time and again, the DC noted and� warned of serious action against Tapedars in case such complaints are received again.
DC, later, visited District Accounts Office and went round the Pension Branch, G.P. Fund and General Branch. Briefing on the occasion, District Accounts Officer Habibur Rehman said that Pay Slip system has been streamlined and it could be obtained online with ease even at home.
