Repatriation Of IDPs From SW To Begin From July 25

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2017 ) : Final phase of Repatriation of Internally Displaced Peoples (IDPs) from South Waziristan (SW) will begin from July 25, which will continue till August 5.
Talking to VOA, Spokesman of FATA Disaster Management Authority for South Waziristan, Saeed Aman said that almost all the displaced people from South Waziristan had returned to their homes, but the final phase was being initiated for those, who could not rehabilitate for some reasons.
He appealed all people to ensure their return adding, all the remaining IDPs should contact to compound of political administration set up in Tank area for their registration.
Responding to a question, Saeed Umar said those, who do not return in this phase, would not be considered as IDPs adding, they would not be entitled to receive any relief.
He said total 3500 families belonging to different areas of South Waziristan Agency would go home in the final phase. Around 73 thousands families had migrated from South Waziristan and their repatriation had started in December 2010, which was still continuing, he said.
