Pakistan Meteorological Department on Saturday forecast rain-thunderstorm at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Zhob divisions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, FATA
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2017 ) : Pakistan Meteorological Department on Saturday forecast rain-thunderstorm at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Zhob divisions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
However, mainly hot and humid weather in most parts of the country will persist. While light rain and drizzle is also expected at a few places in Sindh and Balochistan coast. According to Met office, weak seasonal low lies over north- east Balochistan.
Moist currents are penetrating upper and central parts of the country. A westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country. Total Rainfall recorded during this time span was Malamjabba 71 mm, Dir 19 mm, Kakul 08 mm, Kalam 07 mm, Parachinar, Lower Dir 05 mm, Balakot 04 mm, Saidu Sharif 03 mm, Bannu 01 mm, Sialkot (City 43 mm, Islamabad (Saidpur 32 mm, Golra 27 mm, Z.
P 21 mm, Bokra 08 mm), Murree 19 mm, Rawalpindi (Shamsabad 13 mm, Chaklala 08 mm), M.B Din 10 mm, Mangla 02 mm, Jhelum 01 mm, Rawalakot 12 mm, Kotli 10 mm, Garhi Dupatta 05 mm, Zhob 06 mm, Astore, Gilgit, Skardu and Gupis 01 mm.
Maximum temperatures recorded were Dalbandin 45�C, Bahawalpur 44�C, Islamabad 35� C, Lahore 40�C, Karachi 33�C, Peshawar 36�C, Quetta 36�C, Gilgit 39�C, Chitral 36�C, Muzaffarabad 35�C, Murree 25�C, Skardu 27�C, Faisalabad 39�C, Multan 37�C, Hyderbad 36�C and Dir 32�C.
