Rain-thunderstorm Expected In Upper Region

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21th july, 2016) : Thundershowers with windstorm is expected at scattered places in upper region during next 24 hours while hot, humid conditions to continue elsewhere in the country. Rain-thunderstorm is likely at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Lahore divisions, Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir, whereas light rain may occur along Sindh-Makran coast. Seasonal low lies over north-Balochistan.
Shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and penetrating till next 24 hours, Met office told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country. Maximum temperatures recorded on Thursday was Nokkundi, Dalbandin 45øC, Sukkur 44øC , R.Y.Khan, Sibbi, Dadu and Sh. Benazirabad 43øC, Lahore 41øC, Peshawar 40øC, Multan 39øC, Islamabad, Hyderabad 38øC, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, Quetta 37øC, Chitral 36øC, Dir, Gilgit 34øC, Kalat 33øC, Karachi 32øC, Skardu 31øC, Murree 25øC and Hunza 20øC.
