Punjab Govt Taking Initiatives For Welfare Of Farmers

DG KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan division Muhammad Yasrab Friday said Rs 100 billion interest-free loans would be offered to small farmers across the district.

He said this during a surprise visit to the Land Record Management Information System (LRMIS) center.

He said the Punjab government was taking various initiatives for the welfare of farmers. He said revenue record had been computerised to get rid of patwaris and land mafia.

He ordered for provision of maximum facilities and guidance to farmers about land record management information system and also issued directions for increasing the counters to facilitate farmers.
