Punjab Food Authority Foils Attempt Of Desealing Milk Shop In Lahore

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has got registered a case against Subhan Milk in Mughalpura for de-sealing shop without getting permission from the authority and selling adulterated milk here Tuesday.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2018 ) :The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has got registered a case against Subhan Milk in Mughalpura for de-sealing shop without getting permission from the authority and selling adulterated milk here Tuesday.

According to detail, PFA Additional Director General (operations) Rafia Haider, on the tip-off had conducted a raid a few days back and caught red-handed Subhan Milk shop for selling unhygienic milk.

However, the shop owner managed his escape good from the scene. The PFA team sealed the shop and confiscated 2000 litres adulterated milk from a spot.

Today, the shop owner tried to deseal the shop without seeking prior permission and the PFA team again sealed it.

Moreover, PFA also held province-wide crackdown against substandard food promises and sealed five food eateries in five divisions. The teams collected Rs 418500 as fine on more than 50 points. All food points were sealed and penalized over failure to meet food standards, poor food hygiene issues and did not comply PFA instructions.
