LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Oct, 2017 ) :Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said public service was the pivot of the politics of Pakistan Muslim League-N. "Our government has been engaged in selfless service for the last more than four years and we are about to fulfill our commitments made with the people," he added.

The chief minister was talking to members of the assembly who called on him. He said national development and prosperity would be the core issues of the politics because the people wanted peace, development and prosperity and they had given priority to national development at every step.

He said the importance of national unity had increased even before and Pakistan could achieve its goal through the power of unity. He said political elements obstructing the development projects of public benefit were doing enmity with the people and the conscious people had fully recognized such elements.

"The people will reject the elements impeding the development process through sit-ins in the elections of 2018," he said. Those who called on Chief Minister Punjab included Iffat Liaqat MNA and Asghar Ali Manda MPA. APP/zsd/zqr
