RAWALPINDI, Sept 14 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Sep, 2017 ) : All Pakistan Private Schools Association held a protest demonstration here on Thursday to condemn the massacre of Muslims by Myanmar's forces.
Association President Ibrar Khan, along with teachers gathered at Rawalpindi Press Club carrying banners and placards urged United Nations and the international community to play their role to stop the killing of Muslims in Myanmar.
Speaking on the occasion, he criticized the Nobel Peace prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi for her criminal silence on the abuses against Rohingya Muslims. The protesters raised slogans against the ongoing genocide in Myanmar.
All Pakistan Clerks Association also held protest on Murree Road on violence against Muslims. The protestors blocked the road and set on fire the effigy of Aung San Suu Kyi. The protestors demanded the government to raise voice against genocide at the appropriate level.
