Prices Of Fruits, Vegetables Remain Stable In Posh Markets

ISLAMABAD, Feb 1 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Feb, 2017 ) : Prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items here at Kohsar Market, Super Market and Jinnah Super Market.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee's price list issued here Wednesday, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week. According to price list, potato sold at Rs 30 per kilogram, Onion Rs 37, Tomato Rs 40, Ginger Rs 120, Garlic (China) Rs 300, Garlic Local Rs 370, Lemon Rs 60, Pumpkin Rs 60, Brinjal Rs 60, Peas Rs 50, Fresh-Bean Rs 70, Tinda Walaiti (Imported gourd small) Rs 45, Cucumber Rs 40, Capsicum Rs 90/65, Green Chilli Rs 60, Cauliflower Rs 32, Cabbage Rs 35, Bitter Gourd Rs 120, Green Zucchini Rs 100, Spinach Rs 16/13, Radish Rs 15, Turnip Rs 29, Yam Rs 80, Maroo Rs 35, Carrot Rs 32, Chicken Rs 122 and Egg per dozen Rs 123.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 135/100, Apple Golden Rs 90/65, Apple White Rs 92/60, Apple China Rs 155/130, Banana Pak Rs 100/60, Guava 85/55, Pomegranate Rs 200/150, Musumi Rs 168/130, Shakri Rs 175/130, Kino Rs 75/50, Fruiter Rs 105/60, Pear China Rs 155/130, Red Blood Orange Rs 130/110 People are asked to ensure that they are sold vegetables and fruits as per rate list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
