Police Nabs Over Eight Hundred Outlaws, Contraband Items Seized In Nawabshah

District Police during three month long anti-crime campaign apprehended 24 criminal, 826 absconders and one Afghan national while 11 prayer leaders were also arrested on the charges of delivering instigating speeches on loudspeaker.
NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2018 ) :District Police during three month long anti-crime campaign apprehended 24 criminal, 826 absconders and one Afghan national while 11 prayer leaders were also arrested on the charges of delivering instigating speeches on loudspeaker.
During the campaign police recovered 11 repeaters, 4 rifles, 3 daggers, 120 rounds, 95 live cartridges, 9 guns, 27 pistols and 11 revolvers from the criminals. Meanwhile, police also arrested 130 drug peddlers and booked 125 peddlers under relevant law.
Police recovered 80 kilo 430 grams of Charas, 1256 liters raw local made wine, 272 whisky bottles, 196 sachets of raw wine and 400 kilo Bhang was also recovered from these anti-social elements.
The police report said that during this period 19 police encounters occurred in which 19 criminals wanted in different cases were arrested.
SSP Sajid Ameer Suddozai warned that police personnel if found involved in extracting bribe would be booked and legal action would be initiated against them while police personnel found negligent in duty would also be dealt legally.
