ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2018 ) :Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Lt General (Retd) Abdul Qayyum Monday said the present government had resolved the problems of militancy and energy shortfall, and strengthened economy.
When the PML-N came into power in 2013, the country had been confronted with multiple challenges like terrorism, energy shortfall and unstable economy, but the government adopted prudent policies and overcame all the problems, he said while talking to a news channel.
Commenting on Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's (PTI) 100 days plan, he said the people could judge its success from the performance of PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. General (Retd) Abdul Qayyum said the PML-N government had fulfilled all the promises it had made in its manifesto for the general election 2013.
He said that the issue of terrorism had been resolved through National Action Plan while the energy crisis had been overcome by adding 12,000 mega watt electricity to the national grid.
