MIRPUR (AJK),(Pakistan Point News - 22nd july,2016): According to unofficial results of general elections to 49-seat AJK Legislative Assembly, Pakistan Muslim League-N has emerged as the single largest victorious party in the Legislature with 31 seats. PML (N) secured 31 seats, Muslim Conference 3 seats, PPP 3 seats, PTI 2 seats, JKPP 1 seat and Independent 1 seat whereas there are total 41 seats. At least 423 candidates ran for 41 constituencies of the AJK Legislative Assembly. Although a close contest was expected between PML (N) and the PTI or PPP, the outcome went absolutely contrary to these expectations as both the PTI and PPP found totally collapsed in the elections following a convincing defeat by the `N' in the elections. PPP and PTI could bag only three and two seats respectively in the elections.
