Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's commodity index on Wednesday closed at 3,014 points
KARACHI, Sept. 21 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Sep, 2017 ) : Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's commodity index on Wednesday closed at 3,014 points. The total traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX was recorded at Rs 8.954 billion and the number of lots traded was 16,320, says PMEX release on Thursday.
The major business was contributed by gold amounting to Rs 5.486 billion, followed by currencies through COTS Rs 2.004 billion, WTI crude oil Rs 1.016 billion, platinum Rs 289.994 million, silver Rs 99.344 million, copper Rs 27.204 million, Brent crude oil Rs 16.051 million and natural gas Rs 14.092 million.
