PHA To Cultivate 200,000 Flowering Plants In Murree

RAWALPINDI, April 5 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Apr, 2017 ) :- Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) will cultivate 200,000 flowering plants with placement of 1000 flowers buckets and 200 flower-loaded carts in Murree to enhance natural beauty of the hill spot that attracts thousands of tourists from across the country.
Assistant Director PHA addressing a meeting after taking over the charge of Murree said all out efforts would be made to beautify Murree and it would be made more attractive as a large number of tourists not only from Punjab but from other provinces as well visit Murree particularly during the summer season.
He said, Dahlia, Merry Gold, Anthurium, Petunia and other species of flowers would be planted along the road sides and parks in Murree while flowers buckets would be hanged at all important points of the hill station.
PHA is striving to make the resort more attractive for tourists, he said adding, two feet wide and four feet long buckets with seasonal flowers placed in Nawaz Sharif Park Rawalpindi which has added to the beauty of the park. Same flower arrangements and buckets were also placed under Metro Bus track. The buckets give a spectacular look, he said.
