Petroleum prices expected to be increased from June

Petroleum prices expected to be increased by Rs 5 to Rs 6 per liter from next month

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 23rd May, 2018) The prices of petroleum products are expected to increase from June due to an increase in the prices of crude oil and diesel in international market.

According to media reports, petroleum prices are expected to be increased by Rs 5 to Rs 6 per liter from next month.

The industry sources said that the prices can be increased by Rs 6 while an increase of Rs 8 is expected in prices of High Octane. According to industry experts, the increase in the value of Dollar will also affect the petroleum prices from next month.

A caretaker set-up will take place in the country as the government will complete its tenure on May 31. This caretaker government will be responsible to hold elections while petroleum prices are also expected to be increased by next month.
