PESCO Announces Two Hours Relief In Load Shedding In Hangu, Thall, Doaba, Gorgoary Areas

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2017 ) :The PESCO Chief Executive Officer, Shabir Ahmed here Tuesday announced two hours relief in load shedding in Doaba, Thall, Naryab, Gorgoary, Karbogha Sharif and adjoining areas of Hangu district.

He said a large power transformer of 20/26 MVA at Tall Grid Station have been installed while work on new feeder was in progress to provide relief to consumers. He said this while talking to high level delegation of Hangu, Doaba, Thall, Naryab, Gorgoary led by member national assembly, Ghazi Ghulab Jamal here at his office today.

The PESCO Chief said poles and lines were erected and job will be completed in about two months. With the completion new feeder the problem of low voltage and load shedding would be addressed.

The PECO Chief constituted a committee comprising of SE Pesco Khyber Circle, XEN Hangu, SDOs and local elders to find out strategy for recovery of arrears of billion of rupees, installation of meters, payment of 25% of arrears and wave off of the remaining amount.

General Manager Technical Dr.Amjad Khan, Chief Engineer Commercial Mian Hamid, SE Pesco Khyber Circle, XEN Hangu and concerned SDOs also attended the meeting. A large number of elders and nazims were also present on this occasion.

Chief Executive Pesco Engineer Shabir Ahmad thanked Dr. Ghazi Gulab Jamal for coming to Wapda House and discussed the important issues of electricity related problems of the constituency. He listened to the requests of the elders and issued necessary instructions on the spot.

Shabir issued departmental inquiry orders against one Line Superintendent and one LM for negligence and corruption charges. The delegation thanked Shabir Ahmad for addressal of complaints and assured full cooperation to Pesco in their areas.
