PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2018 ) :PML-N Information Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Musazai here on Monday said the results of Lodhran by-election has buried the agitation and lock down politics of PTI Chief Imran Khan in river Sutlaj.

He said Lodhran election was a trendsetter for 2018 general elections and a clear signal of downfall of PTI and PPP ahead of the upcoming polls likely to be held in July this year. Addressing party workers at Musazai House here, he said that massive participation of people form Kashmir to Peshawar in the rallies of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had created cracks in the hearts of people.

The sea of people in Sheikhupura rally had also unnerved the opponents. Musazai said Lodhran election has again proved that vote bank of PML-N and popularity of Nawaz Sharif had immensely increased and now PTI defeat in 2018 elections was clear writing on the wall.

"The recent flopped Mall Road Lahore's show of the opposition parties was another indication of start downfall of PTI, PPP and Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) as the entire nation through tv screens had seen people to whom Imran Khan, Asif Ali Zardari and Dr Tahirul Qadri had addressed were very thin compare to empty chairs.

" The PML(N) leader claimed people from Azad Kashmir to KPK has started gathering under the flag of PML-N ahead of 2018 elections as they strongly believed that it was the only political party that can deliver for progress and development of the country besides resolving people's problems at their doorsteps.

The people of Lodhran like Lahore and Chakwal had rejected PTI chief's container politics as they wanted solution of their problems and uniformed development of the country. He said completion of Hazara Motorway, Lowari Tunnel, Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital Swat, elimination of terrorism and load shedding and CPEC was the major feats of PML-N that would further help expedite pace of economic development in KP.

Musazai said KP people are now looking towards PML-N for solution of their problems and the party was now in commanding position to win general elections from here.
