Pakistan Post would expand its Same Day Delivery Service to Lahore, Multan, Karachi and Peshawar in last week of March.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2018 ) :Pakistan Post would expand its Same Day Delivery Service to Lahore, Multan, Karachi and Peshawar in last week of March. The Same Day Delivery Service pilot project was successfully operating in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Senior officials of Pakistan Post said that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Utility Stores Corporation was also under process for establishment of Franchise Post Offices. He said that Pakistan Post also signed MOUs with United Bank Limited (UBL) Omni and National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), adding that an agreement with National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for renewal of CNICs at 210 Pakistan Post counters wa also under consideration.
He said that Pakistan Post was also planning to establish rural community centres, a project with ministry of Information Technology and Telecom. The officials further said that Pakistan Post has recently launched Cash on Delivery Service in order to meet the demands of its patrons.
He said that as a public service organization Pakistan Post stands committed to serve the public across all the divides in order to meet the expectations of its customers in today's technology driven market.
Launching of Cash on Delivery Service is a step to take customers convenience and satisfaction to the next level to enable individual as well as corporate clients to send cash on delivery across the country.
