The Provincial Assembly (PA) of Sindh Thursday passed a resolution unanimously to condemn the alleged murder of a minor girl Asma in Mardan, KPK
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2018 ) :The Provincial Assembly (PA) of Sindh Thursday passed a resolution unanimously to condemn the alleged murder of a minor girl Asma in Mardan, KPK.
The two separate resolutions on condemnation were moved by PPP MPA Saira Shahliani and MQM-Pakistan MPA Heer Soho signed by a number of members of the provincial assembly.
In the resolution the provincial assembly resolved to approach the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government to arrest the culprits involved.
Speaking on the resolution, Saira Shahliani said that she has no words to condemn the heinous crime. Heer Soho also condemned the heinous incident. Sindh Minister for Health Dr. Sikandar Mendhro said that a law to this effect should be enacted at national level.
Adding that the Sindh Assembly also can make a new law to punish perpetrators of such incidents and to avert such incidents in the future. Other MPAs also spoke on the occasion.
