Over 1,000 policemen deployed to thwart one wheeling on Eid

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2017 ) : A special squad of over 1,000 policemen will be depolyed to thwart the one wheeling on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. On the directives of City Police Officer Isar Ahmed khan Abbasi, special checkpoints would be set up at various places on Murree Road, including Chandni Chowk and 6th Road flyovers, Airport Road, Peshawar Road and Jhelum Road near Ayub Park to discourage illegal activity, a press release said.

Strict action would be taken against all those found involved in showing stunts on motorcycles and cases under section 99/A would also be lodged against the violators, besides impounding their motorcycles, it added.
