One More Protester Killed In IHK

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd july,2016) : The death toll in the ongoing Kashmir Intifada has risen to 51 with the killing of another Kashmiri youth by Indian forces in Awantipora area of Pulwama district, Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) on Saturday.
Indian police resorted to firing and teargas shelling on peaceful demonstrators who were protesting at Charsoo in Awantipora area of the district against the civilian killings by Indian forces during the ongoing Intifada.
One of the critical injured youth, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, succumbed when he was being shifted to a hospital in Srinagar, KMS reported. Dozens of youth were also injured, some of them critically, due to the use of excessive force by Indian troops and police on peaceful demonstrations in Srinagar, Ganderbal, Tral, Pulwama, Kulgam, Khudwani, Qaimooh, Islamabad, Kokarnag, Qazigund, Shopian, Sopore, Pattan, Baramulla and Bandipora areas in IHK.
