Nine Children Sent To CPB

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2017 ) : A court of Additional District and Session Judge on Friday handed over nine children including a girl to Child Protection Bureau (CPB) while hearing a case of bonded child labour.
Additional District and Session Judge,Arshad Hussain issued warning to the parents of four children involved in bonded child labour. The court also directed authorities to searh out parents of a girl Massoma who was meanwhile sent to CPB for Girls in Gujranwala.
Different police station managed to rescue 13 children from different parts of the city who were involved in bonded child labour at hotels, workshops etc.
The government has already imposed ban on bounded child labour and issued directives to send all the children to school.
Assistant Officer Help Line Officer, CPB Sadia Nazir, talking to APP, said that PS Naikapura earlier recovered a girl Masooma who could not recall her whereabouts. She said that her department was searching for the parents or family of the girl.
