Maryam Nawaz to also accompany father to London
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 28th May, 2018) Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) supremo Nawaz Sharif will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with his wife Kulsoom Nawaz in London.
According to media reports, the former prime minister will leave for London in the last week of Ramzan. He will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr there with his ailing wife Kulsoom.
Sources said that Maryam Nawaz will also accompany her father to London.
Former prime minister Nawaz and his daughter Maryam have been facing corruption cases in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The two have been attending hearings at Accountability Court in this regard and have attended over 70 hearings so far. Nawaz Sharif has completed recording his statements in the court while Maryam is getting them recorded now.
Nawaz Sharif was disqualified as the prime minister after Panama Leaks surfaced. Following the Supreme Court decision ousting Nawaz, he decided to go in the court of people. Since then, he has been holding public meetings and has developed his anti-judiciary and anti-establishment narrative.
Meanwhile, Nawaz’s wife Kulsoom is suffering from cancer. She is under treatment in a hospital in London. Nawaz and his daughter have not been able to stay with ailing Kulsoom in London. However, the two have decided to spend EId-ul-Fitr in London with Kulsoom Nawaz.
