Nawaz Sharif demands emergency NSC meeting over Asad Durrani’s book

Former ISI and RAW chiefs have published book ‘The spy chronicles’

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 25th May, 2018) Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has demanded to call an emergency meeting of National Security Council (NSC) over the book published by former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Gen (r) Asad Durrani.

Nawaz gave his reaction over the book published by Durrani in an informal talk with journalists on Friday.

He said that the contents of the book should be discussed in the NSC meeting. He said that a trustworthy national commission should be formed to look into the matter.

I don’t care if media is afraid of it, he said, and added that two, three governments can’t run at the same time in a country.

The former officials of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) have published a book together. The book is titled as ‘The spy chronicles’ and written by General Asad Durrani of ISI and former chief of Indian Raw A.S Dulat.

The book discussed Mumbai attacks, so-called Indian surgical strike in Azad Kashmir, Kalbhushan Yadav’s arrest, Nawaz Sharif, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, Kashmir, Muzaffar Burhan Wani and Akhand Bharat. Other than that, the book also predicts restoration of ties between India and Pakistan.
