Nasser Khan Janjua, Turkish Envoy Discuss Further Promotion Of Bilateral Ties

Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Ishan Mustafa Yardakul on Monday called on National Security Adviser Lt. General (Retd) Nasser Khan Janjua and discussed further promotion of bilateral relations
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2018 ) :Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Ishan Mustafa Yardakul on Monday called on National Security Adviser Lt. General (Retd) Nasser Khan Janjua and discussed further promotion of bilateral relations.
Besides, matters pertaining to security situation in region, middle East and Arab World also came under discussion. Nasser Janjua welcomed new Ambassador to Pakistan and said "Pakistan enjoys exemplary relations with Turkey.
Warmth and deep affections shared by people of both countries are also exemplary." He highlighted complexed nature of ongoing conflict in Afghanistan and role of Pakistan to support and strengthen peace there.
Ambassador Ishan Mustafa shared facts regarding ongoing war in Syria and adjacent areas. Nasser Janjua also appreciated role and contribution of Turkish President to Muslim World and said "He is the strongest voice of Muslim World.
" The Turkish Envoy expressed his gratitude for love and affection he received in Pakistan on arrival and said Pakistan is a close friend and a brother of Turkey.
He acknowledged and appreciated role of Pakistan for strengthening peace and stability of region and for eliminating terrorism from its soil. "Turkey clearly recognizes security challenges faced by Pakistan today and can even relate to them.
Having trouble in neighbourhood, Turkey is also facing similar national security challenges," he added. He pledged Turkey's support to Pakistan's stance at different regional and international forums.
Both sides expressed satisfaction over upward trajectory of bilateral relations and reiterated to enhance bilateral engagements for extending cooperation in multidimensional spheres. "We are doing remarkable things on our side and have full resolution to enhance and strengthen cooperation," the Envoy said.
