NA Body On States, Frontier Regions Meets

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th May, 2017 ) : A meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) met on Tuesday here at Parliament House under the Chairmanship of MNA Muhammad Jamal ud Din.
The Committee considered "The Tribal Areas Rewaj Bill, 2017) (Government Bill)" in detail, however, did not develop consensus among the members on the said Bill and deferred it for next meeting for further consideration.
Majority of members were of the view that they should be given some time to study and consult the Bill with the people having legal background, said a press release here on Tuesday.
It was further decided that next date of meeting will be communicated by Chairman Standing Committee after consultation with the Hon.
Mr. Speaker, National Assembly. The meeting was also attended by Muhammad Nazir Khan, Surraiya Jatoi, Aftab Shaban Mirani, Qaiser Jamal, Muhammad Kamal Malik, Bilal Rehman, Bismillah Khan, Nasir Khan, Sahibzada Tariq Ullah, Sheikh Fayyaz-ud-Din, Usman Tarakai, Shazia Marri, Shahab-ud- Din Khan, Alhaj Shah Jee Gul Afridi, Syed Ghazi Gulab Jamal, Abdul Qahar Khan Wadan, and Minister for States and Frontier Regions and Officers and Officials of the Ministry.
