Minister Reviews Security Arrangements For Muharram-ul-Haram

Provincial Minister for Counter Terrorism Col. (R) Ayub Gadhi urged the Ulema to play their effective role for maintenance and promotion of peace.

MULTAN, Sept 19 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2017 ) : Provincial Minister for Counter Terrorism Col. (R) Ayub Gadhi urged the Ulema to play their effective role for maintenance and promotion of peace.

Chairing the Cabinet Committee for Muharram-ul-Haram, the provincial minister stated that it was a responsibility of the masses and Ulema to play their role for promotion of peaceful environment.

Provincial Minister for sports Jahangir Khanzada also spoke and stated, "Muharram-ul-Haram gives a message of patience." He also urged the masses to forge unity among their ranks.

Inspector General Police Punjab Arif Nawaz maintained that there would be strict implementation on security measures at procession routes during Muharram, adding that nobody would be allowed to display arms.

Noted Islamic Scholar Qari Hanif Jalandhary assured of complete cooperation for peaceful environment in the city. On this occasion, member of peace committee, Syed Ali Raza Gardezi, Hafeez Ullah Shah, Shafqat Bhutta, Farooq Khan Saeedi, Mushtaq Hussain Bukhari, Syed Babar Ali and others were also present.
