Minister Condemns Killing In Karachi Through Electric Shocks

Federal Minister for Human Rights Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar and Secretary Ms. Rabiya Javeria Agha Wednesday condemned the incident of honor killing in Karachi
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Sep, 2017 ) : Federal Minister for Human Rights Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar and Secretary Ms. Rabiya Javeria Agha Wednesday condemned the incident of honor killing in Karachi, in which a teenage couple were allegedly murdered through electric shocks.
The brutal and barbaric act perpetrated against the teenage couple is not only against Human Righs but also questions the collective human conscience across our nation and society and strong action needed to be taken against the perpetrators of this terrible injustice, said a press release issued here.
The Ministry of Human Rights operates a helpline at 1099 for such cases of violence and torture, providing legal and psychological counselling as well as referral systems.
