Mill Owners Asked To Ensure Pulses In Ramadan

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2017 ) : The mills owners have been directed to ensure the supplies of pulses in the markets according to government fixed rates, otherwise, strict action will also be taken against them.
Chairing a meeting of the Market Committee, Deputy Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha said the Punjab government was providing relief to masses which should be delivered accordingly. He directed the Market Committee and officials concened to ensure the availability of edibles in the markets during the holy month of Ramadan.
He also directed the officials to monitor the rates of edibles and take action against adulterers and people involved in storage. The meeting was informed that total 21 mills were producing different kinds of pulses in the area and total 32,000 quintal Pulse Gram (Daal Chana) and other pulses were available here while new crop of grams will also caused in prices reduction.
It was further informed that Pulse Gram was available in the market at Rs 103 to 105, Daal Mash 150-155, Daal Moong Rs 77-80 and Dal Masoor at Rs 70-80.7
