Mepco To Install Power Transformer At T-II Grid Station Kabirwala

Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) has decided to install power transformer of 40 MVA at 132 KV Kabirwala T-II grid station to resolve complaints of low voltage
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Feb, 2018 ) :Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) has decided to install power transformer of 40 MVA at 132 KV Kabirwala T-II grid station to resolve complaints of low voltage.
According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, in line with special directions of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mepco Engineer Muhammad Akram Chaudhry, power transformer of 40 MVA was being installed at the grid station to replace transformer of 20/26 MVA.
The step was being taken to resolve the issues of low voltage. The power transformer would be installed with the cost of Rs 50 million. The press release added that after installation of new transformer, issues of low voltage at 11 KV City Kabirwala, Mastpur, Kohiwala, Kikar Hatta, Masood Fabrics and Nestle Feeders would be resolved.
