QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2017 ) :Balochistan Secretary Education Abdul Fateh Bhangar Friday said that provincial government was taking practical measures to improve quality of education, aiming to achieve goals of China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) in future.
Talking to APP, Secretary Abdul Fateh Bhangar said that CPEC was mega project of the country and it would bring change in the region in shape of development in each sector. He said that in this regard, we were going to establish latest technology systems in 100 government run high school across province that would cost Rs one billion for promoting standard of education.
He said that construction of many national highways was going to be completed under CPEC project which would help the students of rural areas in reaching educational institutions on time. "Provincial government will establish two high schools for boys and girls near Balochistan university, so that professors and lecturers could help in improving standard education in view of CPEC," Abdul Fateh added.
He said that education is key of development of every society and without education we could not build up the country. The secretary noted that they are going to install biometric systems at each government run schools in order to ensure attendance of teachers in the province which are mage issue of the areas.
He said that sports and other activities including Bazme-Adab and speech debates among students were restored across province for increasing talent of the students.
Fateh said that principal of schools had been ordered to start games activities of students, improvement of health and producing international level players from these academics in future.
He said that cheating cultural had been maximum controlled in Balochistan after installing cameras in examination halls for supervision. "English language classes would be started in government run middle schools in respective areas of province from next year which would result in positive impact," he added.
He said that several Primary and middle schools were upgraded into middle and high schools, respectively. He mentioned that the funds would be provided to schools for renovating wash rooms, providing edible water and basic facilities for students.
"Teachers are the great assets of education system and added that their services plays vital role in strengthening the education system of any country," he added. He urged the teachers to ensure their attendance in the schools for delivering of knowledge to students in sake of quality of education.
He said that actions were also being taken against negligence of teachers who had been found absent from their duties in respective areas and added that further process would also be taken against negligent staff. In this regard, collective efforts should be taken by parents and civil society for promoting of education.
