Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st july,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Thursday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 33, Onion Rs 30, Tomato 65, Ginger Rs 86, Garlic Rs 260, Garlic (China) Rs 275, Lemon Rs 85, Lady Finger Rs 95, Green Zucchini Rs 76/55, Pumpkin Rs 88, Brinjal Rs 78, Peas Rs 170, Farsh Bean Rs 82, Tanda Walaiti Rs 94, Tanda Desi Rs 80, Cucumber Rs 65, Capsicum Rs 68/55, Green Chilli Rs 58, Cauliflower Rs 95/75, Cabbage Rs 44, Bitter gourd Rs 75, Spinach Rs 28/16, Turnip Rs 45, Maroo Rs 85, Yam Rs 55, Carrot Rs 64, Chicken Rs 127 and Egg per dozen Rs 95.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 120/150, Apple White Rs 80/105, Apple China Rs 170/200, Apple New Zealand Rs 235/260, Banana Pak Rs 70/120, Banana India Rs 135/160, Apricot Swat Rs 110/125, Peach Rs 65/85, Garma Rs 35/54, Mango Sundari Rs 97/65, Mango Maldeh Rs 55/40, Mango Almas Rs 40/62, Mango Langra Rs 40/65, Mango Chaunsa Rs 40/62, Mango Ratool Rs 45/65, Mango Desi Rs 38/50 and Apricot Kabli Rs 125/60. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
