Lowari Tunnel To Be Completed By March 2017: Chairman NHA

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : Chairman National Highway Authority (NHA) Shahid Ashraf Tarar on Wednesday said Lowari tunnel would be completed by March 2017. In a briefing to the advisor to Prime Minister Amir Muqam here Wednesday, he said the feasibility study on Basham-Khawazakhel and Chakdara- Kalam expressway would start within a month and construction work would soon be initiated.
Advisor to Prime Minister Amir Muqam directed chairman NHA to expedite work on all the project announced by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and also approved construction of Kalam Bazar. Chairman NHA assured early initiation of work on Bharain-Kalam road and completion of work on Takhtbai flyover by August this month.
He further said that work on Eastern and Western routs of CPEC were also in full swing.
