Lahore High Court Dismisses Rawalpindi Board Of Intermediate And Secondary Education Appeal For Re-examination

A division Bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Wednesday dismissed the appeal filed by the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) for conducting fresh Matric papers.
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2018 ) :A division Bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Wednesday dismissed the appeal filed by the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary education (RBISE) for conducting fresh Matric papers.
The Bench comprising Justice Waqas Rauf and Justice Sarfraz Dogar announced the verdict and maintained the orders of LHC, Justice Ibad U Rehman decision. According to details, the papers of English part 2 and Physics of second shift Matric had been leaked in the first shift in Government Girls school,Choa Khalsa and Government Post Graduate college Asghar Mall on March 3 and 5 respectively .
The RBISE had issued the date sheet for conducting a fresh examination of the leaked papers of the second shift. A student Ifra Arif had filed a petition in the LHC by her counsel against the decision of RBISE for re examination of the said papers, by giving the arguments that papers were leaked due to negligence of board officials not students as the papers were distributed among the first shift candidates by the board officials.
The Judge Ibad u Rehman on March 27, had dismissed the RBISE orders for holding of re examination and cancelled the date sheet.
