KP, Fata People Observe Black Day Against Indian Brutalities In Occupied Kashmir

PESHAWAR,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july,2016) : The people, politicians and lawmakers of Khyber Pakthunkhwa and Fata here Wednesday observed black day against the worst brutalities and continued grave human rights violations in Indian held Kashmir and urged UN to implement its resolution on Kashmir by giving right of self determination to the people of held Kashmir. To observe the black day on the call of Federal government, the people of KP and Fata staged big rallies, protest demonstrations besides organizing functions, seminars to express solidarity with the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) who were recently being subjected to worst brutalities, oppression and grave human rights violations.
They strongly condemned the killing of over 48 innocent civilians and injuring of thousands of others recently in the held Kashmir. Hundreds of thousands of people from Chitral to DI Khan and Bajaur Agency to South Waziristan Agency participated in the protest demonstrations and vowed to continue moral, political and diplomatic support of Kashmiris till they get the right of self determination as promised to them by the United Nations.
Politicians, civil society organizations, lawyers, former ambassadors, lawmakers, trade, labour unions, government and semi government employees also participated in these protest demonstrations and raised full throated slogans ie (stop killing of innocent Kashmiris, Kashmir banay ga Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Kashmirs living in Peshawar also staged a protest demonstration in front of Peshawar Press Club and chanted slogans against worst atrocities in Indian held Kashmir.
The officials of government and semi government departments wore black arm bands while performing their duties to express political, moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris during working hours. People also offered special prayers for the departed souls of martyred Kashmiris.
