Junior Leaders' Conference Held

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : The Junior Leaders' Conference was organized by the school of Leadership (SOL), the organizers of the annual event said here on Wednesday. They said that this has been the 8th year of the conference.
As many as 210 youngsters from various parts of the country attended the three-day moot. It was further pointed out that the moot was designed for 10-15 year olds to help them discover and explore their leadership potential, and give them insight into how they can become more responsible and empowered young adults.
Each year, Junior Leaders Conference brings together more than 200 participants from all over Pakistan with expert speakers, educationists, trainers, industrialists and celebrities. The speakers act as mentors throughout the conference offering insight and guidance to the participants, and are facilitated by an enthusiastic team from School of Leadership to help give the participants the confidence and exposure to become future leaders.
The celebrities who attended the conference included television personality, Sania Saeed, music icon and activist Fakhr e Alam, and fashion designer Yusuf Bashir Qureshi. Sessions were led by Shireen Naqvi, Umair Jaliawala, Waqar Ali, Uzair Ausaf and Rehan Allahwala. The participants were also given the opportunity to learn from outdoor excursions which proved to be essential learning opportunities.
The field trips were a hands-on experience for the participants who learned about ownership and community-building. Partnering with School of Leadership in this endeavor are a number of organizations including EBM, TCS, Friedrich Naumann Foundation, Dalda, ACM Gold, Habitt, Glitz Studio, UHU, and Shamrock Communications.
