Jabba Dam at Jamrud Tehsil of Khyber Agency would be construct very soon, main objective of construction to provide smooth and sustainable water supply to the inhabitants of Hayatabad, Regi Lalma township in Peshawar adjacent areas as well as Tehsil Jamrud area of Khyber Agency
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Sep, 2017 ) : Jabba Dam at Jamrud Tehsil of Khyber Agency would be construct very soon, main objective of construction to provide smooth and sustainable water supply to the inhabitants of Hayatabad, Regi Lalma township in Peshawar adjacent areas as well as Tehsil Jamrud area of Khyber Agency..
An official source told APP on Thursday that recently a high level Chinese delegation visited FATA Development Authority and got detailed briefing regarding construction of Jabba Dam by administration.
The project will benefit around One Million population to have access to mineral quality drinking water on sustainable basis round the year. He also informed that revenue benefit from water supply will be US $ 635.79 million per year and from fisheries it will be US $ 29.73 million per year.
The Chinese delegation showed keen interest to finance the construction of the Jabba Dam and they thanked the detailed presentation given by the FATA Development Authority.
