ITP Distribute 500 Helmets Under Awareness Campaign For Motorcyclists

Islamabad Traffic Police, as part of its campaign to aware motorcyclists, especially those accompanied by women, have distributed 500 helmets to ensure safety of pillion riders

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2018 ) :Islamabad Traffic Police, as part of its campaign to aware motorcyclists, especially those accompanied by women, have distributed 500 helmets to ensure safety of pillion riders.

More than 3000 motorbikes have been checked thoroughly with the collaboration of Atlas Honda while 6000 leaflets and broachers were also distributed under the campaign. Listing the other steps, sources at Interior Division on Monday said 2500 streamers were installed on main intersections, 1600 lights were changed during the campaign while special rally for awareness was also arranged.

The traffic police arranged various seminars and workshops for motorcyclists, activities were published in almost all leading newspapers and a number of volunteers were hired from various universities, colleges and schools to play active part in campaigns. Leading tv Channels broadcast ITP campaigns and special transmissions were aired through ITP FM 92.4 which is still in progress.
