Int'l Day For Elimination Of Racial Discrimination Being Observed

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2017 ) : International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination 2017 is being observed across the world including Pakistan on Tuesday.
According to Radio Pakistan, on this day in 1960, police opened fire and killed 69 people at a peaceful demonstration in South Africa against racial discriminatory laws. The theme for this year is 'ending racial profiling and incitement to hatred'. APP/rb/mtd/ff
